I’ve been “winging it” for the last week. My meal plans, though, are not just about what I actually purchase at the market but about giving you ideas about how you could use the things that are in season.

I’ve got quite a few menu ideas running through my mind. I also have a couple of filet mignons that I bought from Brady’s Farm Direct Meats at St. Alban’s on Saturday, so I will likely incorporate that into this week’s meal plan. I’ll get it up ASAP!
Now that the weather is getting warm and here in Tennessee we’ve already had more than our share of 80+ degree days, I know everyone is chomping at the bit for some good soup recipes, right? No? Oops, sorry.
I did not get a great deal at market today, and I won’t be doing a meal plan tomorrow (although I will supplement with a recipe-I promise!). St. Alban’s starts their warm weather market hours Saturday, so I do plan to go there and hopefully will find some goodies there. Continue reading
This is perfect spread on biscuits and I’m sure would be just as amazing on toast….but would also be perfect on ice cream or stirred into yogurt. Or you could strain the syrup from the berries and use the berries on a PB & J and add the syrup to club soda or milk for a sweet beverage. The possibilities are endless!
